Mixed Groups
Progressive Xtn Journeys
Our gathering together is an opportunity for direct reflection, fellowship, and intellectual
and emotional engagement about being Christians in a challenging 21st century world.
In this setting, we nurture authentic relationships and conversation about our faith and
encourage each other to seek justice, love kindness, and attempt to walk humbly with
God and all others. We bring our questions and allow room and respect for diverse
opinions. We assume that our faith grows and changes as our understanding of Scripture,
tradition, our experiences, and our world expands. We usually include times of
1) centering, 2) communicating what has challenged, inspired or nurtured us in the past
weeks, 3) inquiry into an idea or question posed from the group or its members, and
4) setting intentions for the weeks ahead. Join us, as we reason together on an expansive Christian journey!
