HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF METRO DENVER (HFHMD):

Adult Mission Trip, week of Mar 26 (tentative). We will work again with our sister church Sabine Pass UMC (Texas) helping those families devastated by Hurricane Rita. Habitat for Humanity - If you are interested in helping with publicity, scheduling people to work on the sites, fundraising or any other work contact Leeanne Smith at 303-693-8264.

Seven thousand volunteers will be needed during 2006, and people can sign up to work on any of the homes on the HFH website:  habitatmetrodenver.org

The building of our next Loaves and Fishes home is projected for July 2006 and before that we need to raise money to help build that house. If you wish to make a donation, checks can be made to SHUMC with HABITAT FOR HUMANITY or LOAVES AND FISHES in the the memo line.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OUTLET STORES(HFHOS):
Located on the I 70 north frontage road between Kipling and Ward and on the S.E. corner of the junction on I 25 and Santa Fe. Proceeds from the stores cover all HFHMD's administrative costs and then support building home projects.

Donations may be made to either store. They also need volunteers to  help work the stores. HFHOS are a handyman's shopping delight and they also sell some  furniture and appliances. Check out the web site (above) for further details.
