Chapter Chicks

We are a group of social readers who meet to have faith-based discussions of chosen books. This social women's book club meets monthly at members' homes or local sites for fellowship and to discuss a book. The member hosting for that month selects the date and time for that event, as well as the book. Book topics are diverse and range in genre, so each month is unique. Justice and Joy Readers

This group discusses books from the United Women in Faith’s Reading Program as well as books of interest chosen by the group. We meet the 4th Monday of the Month from 1-3 PM in the Upper Room.  For more inormation, contact Rebecca Mino or call the Church Office at 303-690-9816.

Mission Crafters

We meet together to sew or craft items to be used in various areas of mission at home and abroad. We are currently working on using up donated and scrap flannel to make blankets for donation.  We are now meeting at church in rooms L26 and L27 from 9-noon the second and fourth Thursdays of the month.  Contact Rebecca Mino or call the Church Office at 303-690-9816 for more information.

Paper Crafting

We are a new circle group and meet together to make cards or other paper crafts.  We'll be making cards to use for UWFaith Gift in Mission and other projects, including your own.  We are meeting in person at church in room L26 the first and third Thursdays of the month - alternating evenings and daytime. Quilting Group

This creative group designs and uses patterns to sew quilts to give to members of the congregation with health issues and also sews for Mission areas. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in Room L27, downstairs on the lower level of the church.  Contact Mary Brinton or call the Church Office at 303-690-9816.

Sparkle Llamas

We are a newer group of active women who enjoy doing things in the great outdoors. Our first event was the American Lung Association Fight for Air Climb at Coors Field. Five of us participated in a race up and down the stairs (for a total of 1099 stairs climbed). We don't only gather for large events; sometimes we meet to run or bike together, or to climb the Parker or Castle Rock incline. We are always open to new ideas and to meet other active people like ourselves. Yarn on a Mission

If you knit, crochet or want to learn, join this UWF Circle! All are welcome! We meet the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 7pm in the Upper Room. We’ll be working on projects such as prayer shawls, baptism blankets, and other mission projects. We are currently working on making plarn mats for the homeless population.
